Tim Murray


Tim joined Altum in June 2012 as the COO/CCO of the firm. Tim is a CPA and started his career at Arthur Andersen in 1975. He has held controller and finance positions at Citibank, Drexel Burnham Lambert, Banque Indosuez, and Kidder Peabody. Tim was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns from 1993-2008 in charge of Global Middle Office OTC Derivatives, where he worked closely with Marjorie Hogan. Prior to joining Altum, Tim spent four years at JP Morgan as a Managing Director, involved in a number of areas within Derivatives and co-managing the division in charge of JP Morgan Chase’s home mortgage loan modifications and foreclosures project. Tim obtained a BS degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA degree in Finance from Fordham University.

Ash Batra


Ash joined Altum in July 2019 as the CFO of the firm. Ash holds CPA and CGMA licenses. He started in the profession in 1995. Before joining Altum, Ash was the controller with MIO Partners, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of McKinsey & Co. Inc. for twelve years. In that role Ash oversaw accounting and tax for various complex structures and strategies. Prior to that Ash spent several years in public accounting profession providing tax and audit services to various hedge funds, private funds, managed account and SEC registered clients. Ash obtained his BBA in Accounting from Baruch College in 1995.

Steven Waldemore

Operations Director

Steven joined Altum in April 2013 and is responsible for managing day-to-day and month-end operations. In addition, Steven is responsible for periodic Accounting and Compliance reporting requirements. Steven started his career at Bear Stearns in 2007 as an Analyst in the middle office of its Derivative Static Data Group. He then transitioned to the Credit Flow Trade support team with JP Morgan in 2008. Steven later advanced to become an Associate where he served as a trading assistant for the Credit Hybrids Market Making Desk from 2010 to 2013. Steven earned a BS degree with a dual major in Finance and Management from Tulane University.

Helen Meyerhoff

Compliance and Accounting Director

Helen joined Altum in March 2014 as the Office Manager and Junior Accountant, and is responsible for management company related expenses and the day-to-day office coordination. Prior to joining the firm, Helen was an Operations Supervisor for the HIRTA Public Transit in Iowa, managing the day-to-day affairs of a transportation agency, supervising over 30 personnel. Helen obtained a BS in Mathematics degree from Iowa State University and a BS in Accounting degree from Buena Vista University. She is also a licensed CPA in the State of New York.

Alec Fields

Accounting and Compliance Associate

Alec joined Altum in August of 2018 as an Accounting and Compliance Associate, and his primary responsibilities are to assist with day-to-day as well as month-end accounting and compliance. Before joining Altum, Alec started his career in 2015 with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their State and Local Tax practice. Alec earned a BS degree with a dual major in Accounting and Finance from the University of Delaware. He is also a licensed CPA in the State of New York.
